Autonomous Hull Screening for Nigerian Ports: Stable Air–Water Transition for a Hybrid Aerial-Underwater Vehicle
A research poster on keeping a hybrid aerial–underwater vehicle stable as it crosses between air and water.
A stability result for the up-and-down (heave) motion of a hybrid aerial–underwater vehicle as it crosses the water surface: a nonlinear, three-zone model with quadratic drag and added mass that scales with submersion, stable under an explicit dwell-time condition on the controller's switching. Results are from simulation.
